Shaped spring is this elastic element, widely used in mechanical equipment, electronics and other industries. When loaded, it will produce a large elastic deformation, which will convert mechanical energy or kinetic energy into deformation energy. After withdrawal, the deformation disappears and returns to its original state.
Analysis of fracture reason of special spring in using process? Common shaped springs are customized by manufacturers, mechanical equipment, electrical, electrical industries are also used a lot, especially some special materials. It is widely used in newer precision machinery.Different customers have different requirements for their products.Even if the same shaped spring is made of different materials, the use of the finished product is also different.
Even though the customization process of profiled springs is more complex than conventional, quality is our first consideration. So here, we will discuss the reasons why the shaped spring will break during use:
1. Mandrel too small or horizontal use precision profiled springs and mandrel wear fracture.
2. Use in series, bend them over the length of the mandrel or counterbore, or, due to subtle differences in themselves, weaker loads will withstand greater compression and fracture.
3. After exceeding the compression amount, it generates high-efficiency stress and causes it to fracture.
4. When the mandrel is too small/the assembly surface is uneven/the parallelism of the positioning surfaces at both ends is not good, it will be compressed and twisted, resulting in high local pressure and fracture.
5. The spindle is too short and the end is not chamfered, which will lead to friction and wear between the profiled spring and the spindle and fracture.
6. The use of foreign material between mechanical shaped coils reduces the actual number of effective coils, resulting in high stress and fracture.
7. Mechanical special-shaped spring material uneven or excessive impurity content lead to stress concentration and fracture.
8. Over-firing, corrosion, high hardness and over-stretching of profiled metal springs will reduce their tensile and compressive strength, resulting in fracture.
